Skincare and spa inserts
The first touch, before the serum
Skincare and spa sets often hold several pieces in one box: glass bottles, pumps, cream jars and soap. Each needs its own place. We grow inserts from mycelium (the root network of fungi), molded to each product, with a fibre pattern that differs on every piece. It suits products sold on a feeling of calm.

If your product is not on this list, send photos anyway. We will tell you plainly whether we can grow that shape yet.

- Cream and balm jars
- Massage and aroma oils
- Bar and handmade soap

- Travel and trial kits

Arranging the box
Three layouts skincare brands use most
01
One insert per product
One bottle, one insert. Suits products sold on their own or boxes sized close to the product.
02
A tray with several cavities
A single tray with a place for each product, so the whole set is seen at once when the box opens.
03
Corner inserts
Support only the corners of an inner product box. Suits products that already have their own box.
Before designing the insert
5 things to think about when packing skincare and spa sets
- 01
Pumps and droppers
Lock the pump or close the cap before packing, and tell us the total height with the pump so the insert never presses on it.
- 02
Labels and bottle finish
Tell us about printed glass, paper labels or frosted bottles, and we will choose where the insert touches the bottle.
- 03
Pieces of different weights
Glass bottles weigh far more than plastic jars or soap. Weigh each piece before we design a shared tray.
- 04
Caps and sealing liquids
Close caps firmly and seal the necks of oils and lotions before packing, so nothing seeps onto the box.
- 05
Ship a few before you scale
Send two or three boxes through your usual carrier first. If you have a spec to meet, send it and we will test to your conditions and share the results.
Why mycelium
An insert as quiet as your product
A natural fibre surface
Creamy brown, with a pattern that differs on every piece. It sits naturally beside clear or frosted glass and ceramic jars.
Molded to each product
The mold follows your bottles, jars and box, so there is nothing to cut or pad yourself.
Grown on Thai agricultural residues
The material itself is entirely biomass and is not made from petrochemicals.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with pump bottles or droppers?
Yes. We mold the cavity to your bottle and leave room so the pump or dropper is not pressed in transit. Send a photo and the total height including the pump, and we will plan where the insert supports it.
Can one tray hold several products in the same box?
Yes, for example a serum, a cream and a soap together. Send the size of each product and of the box, and we will suggest a single tray or separate inserts, whichever suits better.
Can it hold an unboxed bar of soap?
Yes. We mold the cavity to the bar. If the soap surface is still moist or oily, wrap it in paper or film before placing it in the insert.
What does it cost, and is there a minimum order?
Pricing is based on the weight and shape of the insert. The minimum depends on whether a new mold is needed. Send photos and sizes and we will estimate.
How should the inserts be stored?
It is a natural material, so store it somewhere dry and ventilated. If your products travel through humid conditions, tell us when we discuss details.
